Room Hire

The premises has disabled access to all but two rooms in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 2005. The Centre is regularly used by a wide range of church and community groups.

The 8 person lift serves all three floors of the building and can accommodate large electric wheelchairs.  In addition, there is level access from outside to the ground and lower ground floors. Unisex disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are available.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments are available at a small charge. 

The Church and Centre are staffed Monday to Thursday from 9.00 am till 10.00 pm and Friday from 9.00am to 8.00pm. The building is also available at weekend and opened and closed by arrangement.

No alcohol is allowed on the premises under any circumstances, including as raffle prizes.  Raffles are allowed to a limited extent - please contact us for details.

 As well as being the heart of our church and the place where worship takes place, the Sanctuary   provides a beautiful venue with comfortable seating for concerts, conferences, exercise classes and arts events and a platform suitable for use by choirs or orchestras. 

We have an excellent sound system with microphones and lapel mikes which is made available to groups on request as well as variable and spot lighting.  The room also has a loop system for the hard of hearing and a wheelchair lift allowing access to the platform.

The flexible seating means that the capacity of the room varies depending on the layout.

The Coffee Lounge makes a friendly setting  for formal meetings.  It is also very suitable for informal social gatherings. There is level access through wide doors to this room for people in wheelchairs or those  pushing    prams. A portable loop system, suitable for use by groups of two or three, is also available.  

The Millennium Room is a pleasant room suitable for meetings of small groups for training, discussion or study. 

The Centenary Room, on the lower ground floor, is particularly suitable for workshops or training sessions.  Seating can be arranged either in rows or with tables for smaller groups, giving a ‘boardroom’ layout.

The Hall, which is situated on our lower ground floor, is an ideal venue for educational, training and fitness classes, youth and theatre workshops, and small functions.

It is also suitable for children’s parties, dancing - anything where more space is needed. 

The Kitchen is an integral part of the Hall and is equipped to commercial catering standards, including cookers and a dishwasher.  Crockery and cutlery for up to 100 people is available at a small charge.
